Last year I used a really high quqlity synthetic, I never changed it all year and by how clean it is I could run it for the next two seasons, buttt, I cant for the life of me or anyone else who raced with us remember the name of it. So this year its another hight quality synthetic. Amsoil 10/30 and no additives.

Well you know....

Why such a high first #, 20 seems kinda high.
I would have thought a 5w30 synthetic would be best for a legend.
If you run a light oil and change it often you will get an engine to spin up fast.

You know you have acheived Greatness,
When you are better than what everyone else thinks,
But not Quite as good as You Think.

It was what I was told to run in it when I bought it and a few others I asked had run, my motor is being rebuilt and when I pick it up I'll ask the engine builder what he recommends in it for 09

Well the dura lube/amsoil mix seems to work. I way overheated my engine two weeks ago,I changed the oil and added another quart of dura-lube and put a new rad cap on and its running as good as it did before the way over heating.

Well you know....

AMSOIL all the way and NO additives. Been racing for a lot of years and have used AMSOIL in every engine we've run and ZERO failures. Wicks racing filter gets changed every 6 race nights
