They're regular fixtures in pit row, but they don't drive on the racetrack or work on the cars. Take a look at some notable NASCAR wives.

Jeff Gordon and Ingrid Vandebosch

Although Jeff Gordon and Belgian model Ingrid Vandebosch were introduced in 2002, he was married at the time and they didn't start dating until nearly two and a half years later. The two married in November of 2006 and welcomed their first child, Ella Sofia, on June 20, 2007. The winner of the Elite Look of the Year Award in 1990, Ingrid Vandebosch has been featured in Elle, Marie Claire, Vogue and Glamour. She has also graced the pages of the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Jimmie and Chandra Johnson
Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon may battle on the track, but Johnson owes his biggest off-track victory to his teammate and rival. Gordon introduced Johnson to Chandra in 2002. He proposed on the top of a mountain in Beaver Creek in December 2003, and they were married in December of 2004. A former model, Chandra Johnson now works for the Jimmie Johnson Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to aid families, communities and children themselves pursue their dreams.

Tony Stewart and Tara Roquemore

Tony Stewart and Tara Roquemore have had an on-again, off-again relationship for awhile. Tara, a former marketing assistant for Tony's major sponsor, Home Depot, and Stewart broke up in the first half of 2007. When she appeared with Stewart at the Daytona 500 in 2008, however, it caused speculation about their relationship. Stewart later confirmed that they are once again a couple.

Dario Franchitti and Ashley Judd

Actress Ashley Judd married Dario Franchitti in 2001 at Skibo Castle in Scotland, the same venue that hosted Madonna's wedding to Guy Ritchie and Ewan McGregor's nuptials. Ashley Judd has done more than just cheer for her husband at the track. In 2007 when Franchitti was still racing on the IRL circuit, Judd complained to the media that it was a safety risk to continue to let Indy driver Milka Duno drive because her average speed was too slow

Greg Biffle and Nicole Lunders

Greg Biffle has been married to his wife Nicole Lunders since October of 2007. She's a devoted animal lover and very involved in her husband's foundation supporting humane society programs. That protective nature also apparently carries over to watching Greg on the track, however, as in 2006 Nicole berated Kurt Busch's fiancee Eva Bryan after Busch wrecked Biffle.

Kurt and Eva Busch

Kurt Busch met Eva Bryan on a blind date. Eva believed Busch was a veterinarian because the friend who set them up worried she wouldn't want to meet a racecar driver. Three years to the date after they met, Kurt Busch married Eva. Their nuptials were taped and later aired on national television.

Matt and Katie Kenseth

Although both Matt and Katie Kenseth are natives of Cambridge, Wisconsin, it took the wedding of a mutual friend for them to meet. They themselves were married in the Caribbean in December, 2004. Matt has a son, Ross, from a previous relationship. The Kenseth's two cats -- Lars (named after Metallica's Lars Ulrich) and Charlotte (named for the site of Matt's first Winston Cup win) -- have been featured in calendars to raise money for the Humane Society.

Juan Pablo Montoya and Connie Freydell

Juan Pablo Montoya and his wife, Connie Freydell, have founded the Formula Smiles Foundation to help improve sports facilities for children in poor neighborhoods. After getting married in October of 2002, Juan Pablo Montoya and Connie Freydell had two children: Sebastian on April 11, 2006 and Paulina on September 11, 2006. Montoya is often joined by all three when he races.

Carl Edwards and Kate Downey

After meeting Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer Amanda Beard at the California Motor Speedway in 2004, Carl Edwards started dating her the following February. They broke up in 2006, and he is currently dating Kate Downey.

Martin Truex Jr. and Sherry Pollex

Sherry Pollex, Martin Truex Jr.'s girlfriend, juggles many roles. Not only does she travel to many races, but she also owns an upscale women's designer boutique in North Carolina and helps out with the Martin Truex Jr. Foundation, which helps children in need. Pollex is the daughter of Greg, who fields multiple Busch teams.

David and Michelle Gilliland

After meeting David Gilliland in 1995 when she was just a senior in high school, Michelle married the driver in 1997. She is a stay-at-home mom who looks after their two children: Todd and Taylor.

Jeff and Kim Burton

Jeff and Kim Burton started dating when he was 15 and she was 14 and were prom dates in high school. They were married in February of 1991 and live in North Carolina. The couple has two children: Kimberle Paige and Harrison Brian. Among the charities they support, Jeff and Kim Burton have been dedicated to helping the Duke Children's Hospital. In addition to making regular visits to the hospital to meet both patients and staff, both have helped raise funds to help construction on a new building and to aid research needs.

Kevin and DeLana Harvick

After meeting during driver introductions at Michigan International Speedway in 1999 and dating after reuniting at a Richard Childress Racing party later that year, Kevin Harvick and DeLana kept their relationship a secret for a year. Only after getting engaged one year to the day of their first date did they go public. DeLana Harvick is one of the few -- if not the only -- significant other to wear a team firesuit on race days. She grew up in a racing world (her father was a driver) and now is a co-owner of Kevin Harvick Incorporated, which fields teams in the Nationwide and Craftsman Truck Series.

Ryan and Krissie Newman

A clerk for a North Carolina judge when her grandmother set her up on a blind date with Ryan Newman in 2001, Krissie reportedly had no clue what a stock car was. She now attends most every race since marrying Newman in 2004. The Newmans manage the Ryan Newman Foundation, which focuses on helping shelters and pounds provide care for abandoned dogs and cats.
