The roar of race cars is set to return to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) and the Castrol Presents the Victoria Day SpeedFest Weekend, May 18 to 20. The action-packed weekend features exciting racing from six series and a full-slate of family friendly activities.

The Castrol Presents Victoria Day SpeedFest Weekend once again opens the major event racing season at CTMP – highlights include the always entertaining stock cars of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series competing in the Clarington 200 and the exotic sportscars of the Pirelli World Challenge Championship. The three-day event also features races from the Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Yokohama, the Canadian Touring Car Championship presented by Pirelli, the Nissan Micra Cup Series and the Radical Challenge.

“It’s great to finally see we’re into spring and getting our 57th year underway with the Castrol, Victoria Day SpeedFest weekend,” said Myles Brandt, President and General Manager, CTMP. “We’ve had a busy off-season and we’re looking forward to what will be an exciting kick-off to our season of racing action, both on and off the track.”

There will be plenty for fans to see and do off-track as well with the family-friendly Canadian Tire Action Zone, the CTMP Marketplace (featuring a variety of vendors – some interactive) and Driver Autograph sessions. A special highlight is the traditional Victoria Day weekend fireworks display on Saturday evening.

Weekend Super Tickets and Camping passes are available online for purchase starting at $50. Children 16 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
