Lance Dehm of Chatsworth led flag-to-flag to pick up the $1,750 win Friday night at the Prairie Dirt Shootout. Jeb Friedman of Pontiac started tenth and finished second, grabbing the hard charger award. Mike Harrison of Highland was third, Jim Farris of Odell fourth, and Jeff Leka of Buffalo rounded out the top five. Rains came in after the Modified feature as the Late Models were rolling out canceling the rest of the evening. 32 Late Models were on hand with heats being won by Eric Smith, Shannon Babb, Brian Shirley, and Mike Spatola. Frank Heckenast Jr and Terry Casey won the Semi Features. Jason Feger was the fast qualifier. Dehm, Justin McCoy, Farris, and Harrison won the Modified heat races. Jeff Curl and Danny Schwartz were the Semi Feature winners. Nick Allen was the fast qualifier of the 39 Modifieds in attendance. The Sportsman had 11 entries as Richie Rich won the only heat. The rained out feature will not be rescheduled.
