Gates Open Noon Friday for the Michelin SportsCar Encore at Sebring International Raceway
Saturday Night Concert Featuring "Love and Theft" Highlights Weekend of Motorsports and Music at the Legendary Circuit

Gates open noon tomorrow (Friday, Nov. 9) at Sebring International Raceway where fans will have the opportunity to witness both top-level sports car racing and a Saturday night concert featuring country music artists Love and Theft with special guests the Dairy Daughters.

Tickets to the Michelin Encore weekend will be available at the gate. A three-day ticket is $30 and includes admission to the concert that begins Saturday at 6:30 p.m. A Sunday-only ticket will be available for $10. Military vets with ID will be admitted free on Sunday in honor of Veteran’s Day.

The Michelin Encore will feature a four-hour endurance race on Sunday for International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) LMP3, GT4 and TCR cars. In addition, the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Challenge will race on both Saturday and Sunday. Over 40 cars are entered for the two races.

One of country music’s hottest young acts, Love and Theft, with such memorable hits as the No. 1 smash “Angel Eyes” and other chart toppers including “Runaway” and Whiskey On My Breath,” headlines Saturday’s concert. The high-energy duo of Eric Gunderson and Stephen Barker Lisles, who are songwriters, guitarists and producers of their own music, will be joined at Sebring by the Nashville-based duo Dairy Daughters, featuring Avon Park, Fla.-native Shelby Dressel. Dressel gained local and national fame as a 2009 American Idol finalist and partners with Minnesota-native Megan Gertken in the group.

The outdoor festival-style concert will be presented by Florida Hospital and Visit Sebring, Lake Placid and Avon Park. Dairy Daughters open the show at 6:30, followed by Love and Theft at approximately 8 p.m.
