What a season for Jeff Gordon, huh? It started ominously with a 40th-place finish thanks to a blown engine in the season-opening Daytona 500 that seemed to bring a black cloud over his season. Then -- after crashes, power failures, pit-road incidents and fluke tire mishaps seemingly ruined his entire season -- hope suddenly sprang up. All of the sudden, The Rainbow Warrior put together six top-fives in seven races, including a lucky Pocono win, and he was back in the race for the Chase. Gordon finished the season with three consecutive top-threes and, BOOM, he was a wild-card recipient for the postseason. Then Chicagoland happened. Did Jeff Gordon's crash end his championship hopes? Deanna Engel and Nick Margiasso are on opposite sides of the spectrum. Read their arguments and weigh in with your own in the comments below.
