Hi there, We are currently building a dirt track racing facility in Kenora, Ontario, Canada near beautiful Lake of the Woods. We are planning site clearing for this spring, track construction in the mid-summer with the possibility of one event in October. Current plans are to host weekly racing in the summer with 4-Cylinders, Pure Stocks, and WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds. In addition, we hope to have Demo Derbies and Go-kart racing in the summer and Ice Racing, Sno-Cross, and Sled Racing in the winter. Moncrief Construction Ltd. Hooks Up with Lake of the Woods Speedway Project News Release The Lake of the Woods Speedway Project would like to announce a commitment from Moncrief Construction Limited for the purpose of prepping the track site located on Jones Road in the City of Kenora. The project is taking another step in making the speedway a reality.
