It was a another chilly spring night at the Miller Central Speedway, but with 64 cars in the pits for the night's racing.

The Pure Stock feature came out first and it was a wild one. Jackie Hoftiezer led the first lap, but then moved down on Tyler Kolda coming off of turn 2 and ended up in the infield but kept going. Kolda led a lap before Jordan Rawstern passed him on the outside for the top spot. Kyle Elsen made a move for the lead on lap 4, but got into Rawstern and created a big mixup. When it all shook out, Colton Fryer had Nathan Van Zee parked on his hood. They got Van Zee down with the wrecker, but he drove to the pits and all it a night. Fryer went off on the hook.

On the restart, Rawstern took off, but Jayden Michaelsohn ran him down with 4 laps to go to win over Rawstern, Ashley Wampler, Brandon Hammill, Elsen and Hoftiezer. Michaelsohn's car failed post race tech with Rawstern winning his fourth feature at the Speedway.

The WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds were next, with Zach Pollock running away early. Lane Johnson ran him down and took the lead coming off of turn two with a lap and a half to go, but before the reached the flagstand Brandon Hoftiezer came to a halt on just off of the frontstretch in a big cloud of smoke, bringing out the caution. On the restart, second place Johnson took the outside line and made his move for the lead, but Tracy Johnson came up the inside from the third row to get next to Lane. They fought for second the rest of the way until Lane hit a hole in turn 4 on the last lap. Pollock won his first Midwest Modified feature win over Tracy Johnson, Tony Konold, Lane Johnson and Lorin Johnson. It was Pollock's first win at Miller since 8/24/12.

The WISSOTA Street Stocks put on a show with Kyle Bertsch leading a lap before giving way to Chris Serr for 2 laps, then Broc Stout took the lead for a lap before Serr retook the lead. On lap 6 Serr suffered a flat tire with Stout leading the rest of the way over Bertsch, Andy Rossow, Dustin Davis and Blayne Baloun. It was Stout's eighth win at the Miller Central Speedway, tying him for fifth on the Street Stock list with Doug LaVoy.

The WISSOTA Modifieds Nick Grehl lead the first 3 laps before hitting the turn four hole and losing the lead. Alex Guthmiller took over and lead the rest of the way over Kent Arment, Mike Stearns, Grehl and Scott Hansen. It was Guthmiller's first Modified feature win and his first at the Speedway since 9/4/09.

The tacky track was fast, with Cole Searing leading the WISSOTA Super Stock feature flag to flag over Trevor Nelson, Alan Dorris, Shawn Malsam and Brandon Tingle. It was Searing's 15th feature win in the Supers.

The WISSOTA Late Models provided the Grand Finale. Mike Jager led the first lap before Curt Gelling took over. Jager continued to hound him, but eventually Chad Becker ran him down and went after Gelling. Finally, coming off of turn two on the last lap Becker went by for the win. It was his first at the Miller Central Speedway and it means he has now won in WISSOTA Late Models at six different tracks in South Dakota. Gelling was followed by Jager, Curt Kranz and Josh Skorczewski.

With Huron taking next week off before Wheel Jam, racing will shift to Saturday night next weekend. Starting time will be 7:00 PM.
