(Sept. 18, 2012) ”“[/FONT][FONT=&quot] The NASCAR Canadian Tire Series presented by Mobil 1 travels to Kawartha Speedway near Peterborough, Ont., on Saturday, Sept. 22 for the Pinty’s 250 presented by Dodge to close out the 2012 season. Below is a statistical look at the recent performance of the series and selected drivers at Kawartha, as well as some other statistical trends:[/FONT] [FONT=&quot] [/FONT] [FONT=&quot]Kawartha Race Setup[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]This is the 75th race for the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series.[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]D.J. Kennington, a two-time Kawartha winner, has to finish 19th or better to clinch his second series title.[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]Kennington along with Ron Beauchamp Jr. and Scott Steckly have four top-10 finishes in five starts at the .375-mile speedway.[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]Fifteen different drivers have led laps at Kawartha led by Kennington with 252.[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]Pete Shepherd III has top-10 finishes in all three of his Kawartha starts including a win in 2010.[/FONT] [FONT=&quot] [/FONT] [FONT=&quot]NASCAR Canadian Tire Series At Kawartha Speedway[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]This is the series’ sixth visit to the track that is a .375-mile progressive-banked track in Fraserville, Ont.[/FONT] · [FONT=&quot]The Pinty’s 250 presented by Dodge will premiere on TSN at 4:30 p.m. ET on Sat.
