On Sunday May 28th the Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders made their second stop of the season at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, which also capped off the double header weekend of action at the track. When the final checkered flag was flown one driver inherited a win, two others scored their first wins of the season at the track, and another won his third straight.

Up first to take to the track for their feature was the 12 lap Crazy Coyote Mini Hauler Trucks, with Ted Carlson and Drake Fenton drawing the front row. Fenton would take advantage of his staring spot to grab the lead on lap 1 over Billy Stanford, who started 4th, and Jerad Ruble. Stanford and Ruble followed in Fenton's tire tracks, until Stanford got high in turn 2 on lap 6 which allowed Ruble to go by for second. Ruble then tried to work under Fenton on the final laps, but Fenton was able to hold him off at the line to score his first win of the season at the track. Ruble was 2nd, Stanford was 3rd, Carlson was 4th, with Dylan Reverend rounding out the top 5.

The 15 lap IMRA Midget feature was next, with Adam Taylor and Dillon Morley drawing the front row for the event. Taylor used his front row starting spot to jump out into the lead on lap 1 over Morley and Gedd Ross. With the battle going on for second, Taylor started to pull away from the field. Just when it looked like Taylor would cruise to an easy win, the first caution of the race appeared on lap 11 to bring the field back to his back bumper. Jeremy Hull spun in turn 2 to bring out the yellow. On the restart Derek Goble spun in turn 4 to bring the yellow light back on. The following restart saw Taylor moved back out front, with Morley and Robert Bell close behind. Despite a few challenges from Morley over the final laps, Taylor was able to hold on to claim his first win of the season at 34 Raceway. Morley was 2nd, Hull recovered from his spin on lap 11 to come back up to finish 3rd, Bell was 4th, with Kurt Mueller coming home in 5th.

Michael Dominguez and Scott Sappington Jr. led the field to the drop of the green flag in the 15 lap Sunoco Fuel Mod Lite feature, with Dominguez grabbing the lead on lap 1 over Sappington Jr. and Jason Masengarb. The action up front was slowed on lap 1, when Randy Bryan, who was running 5th, spun down the front stretch and collected Joe Glick, Brian Tipps and Joe Wood to bring out the yellow. On the restart Masengarb slipped past Dominguez for the top spot, with Wilkerson following him into second. Wilkerson followed in Masengarb's tire tracks, until another caution came out on lap 4. This time Matthew Schrader spun in turn 2 to bring out the yellow. Masengarb once again grabbed the lead on the restart, with Charlie Brown, who started 10th, over taking Wilkerson for second. One lap later, lap 6, Devon Rouse, who was running 3rd, spun in turn 1 to bring out the third caution of the race. Once again Masengarb jumped back out front on the restart, with Wilkerson getting back by Brown for second. Masengarb then started to pull away from the field and looked to be heading to an easy win, when the final caution of the race slowed him down on lap 13. Rouse, who worked himself back up to 6th after the spin on lap 6, spun in turn 3 to bring out his second solo caution of the race to end his night. On the restart Masengarb moved back out front, with Wilkerson and Sappington Jr. close behind. Wilkerson tried to work under Masengarb until he spun in turn 2 on the final lap, which allowed Masengarb to go on to win his third straight win of the season at the track. Sappington Jr. was 2nd, Josh May started 7th and finished 3rd, Joel Huggins came from 9th to finish in 4th, with Abilene, Kansas driver Chad Shertzer coming home in 5th.

The final feature to take to the track on the night was the 30 lap Shottenkirk.com Sprint Invaders, with Jamie Ball and Josh Schneiderman leading the field to green. Ball would take advantage of his starting spot to jump out into the lead on lap 1 over Schneiderman and Chris Martin. Martin would slip past Schneiderman on lap 2 for second and then went to work on Ball for the lead. Ball and Martin were setting such a fast pace, that by lap 7 they started to enter lapped traffic. The two had to maneuver through heavy lapped around the midway portion of the race, and Martin tried to use the traffic to slid in front of Ball going into turn 1 on lap 20. But Martin drifted to high coming off turn 2 to allow Ball to shoot back under him to keep the lead. Coming off turn 4 to complete lap 25 Ball got high and allowed Martin to get under him, as the two crossed the line side-by-side. Ball got high coming off turn 2 and did a 360 to try and stay running. At the same time Josh Schneiderman got off the throttle to avoid Ball and got sideways, which caused Jarrod Schneiderman to clip the front end of Josh's car and breaking the front. Ball would come to a stop just to the entrance of the pit lane and brought out the yellow. Martin would inherit the lead on the restart, with Jarrod and Jon Agan, who started 10th, following. When Jarrod slid up the track in turn 4 on lap 27, this would slow Agan's momentum up top and allowed Ryan Jamison, who started 9th, to shoot under both of them for second. But all this would allow Martin to pull away to claim the win. But in post race inspection it was found that Martin had the wrong tire on and was disqualified. Jamison was awarded the win. Agan was moved to 2nd, Jarrod Schneiderman was moved to 3rd, Ball was moved to 4th, with Cody Wehrle being moved to 5th.
