Osage Casino Throw Down In T-Town

October 2017 Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park Throw Down In T-Town & Mid-West Pro Mod & Radial Series WORLD FINALS.

This is the last BIG EVENT of the year and a show you don't want to miss!

The Throw Down in T-Town has become one of the most popular drag races in the country because it's a race put on by racers for racers.

Throw Down of 2017 will be held at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park on October 13th-14th and will feature some of the top racers in the United States competing in 10 classes.

"The Throw Down in T-Town has become one of the largest races in the country," track co-owner Keith Haney said. "We had over 160 race cars in May. It's a FREE event for the customer, and we had 25,000 fans in the stands for the weekend in May. It's just become a huge event."

The track has a total of $54,600 available for class winners and another $30,000 in contingency money up for grabs. In addition to track sponsors Osage Casino, Lucas Oil, Mickey Thompson, Pro-Line, Fuel Tech, RacingJunk.com,Strange Engineering, Precision Turbo, M&M Transmission, Dave's RV, Larry Jeffers Race Cars, Wiseco, Induction Solutions, Trick Titanium and several companies have joined the track as contingency sponsors.

"They've all jumped on board just because how big this event has become," Haney said. "We're pretty excited about its magnitude."

The fastest doorslammers in the world will be racing at the Throw Down, which will feature Mid-West Pro Mod Series WORLD FINALS. Both MWPMS & Slammer categories will feature 16 car fields...with as much as $10,000 to win! R.v.W-10.5 class, MX275 class, MX235 class, *NEW 470 Index*, 6.0 Index Class, Pro-Street Class, Outlaw Gassers, Jr Pro1 & Pro2.

This is also the WORLD FINALS for Mid-West Pro Mod Series, Mid-West Radial Series RvW, X275 and MX235 and the best part is the POINTS are so close and these drivers will do whatever it takes to win.

"Some of them drive 1,500 miles, but if for some reason they don't get in the show, they still have a chance to race," Haney said.

That's part of the draw the race has drivers and teams across the country, as Haney and co-owner Todd Martin know how to put on a show.

We will have prize giveaways for fans and Super Play rides for kids.
"We are also excited to announce that we will have a Pro-Mod School Bus."
"It's an absolute blast," Haney said. "The fans interact here like no other. The interaction is amazing and totally off the wall. Most drag racers want to race in front of a big audience.

The biggest news is the Mid-West Pro-Mod Series is coming....this is one cool series because this series is governed by rules that allow Blowers, Pro Chargers, Turbos, Roots Blowers and Nitrous all run each other.
