Stretch Of 5 Races In 10 Days Starts This Week After the last two weeks in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Pro Series, you won't want to miss this Saturday night. NWAAS logo Two of the track's three NASCAR Nite divisions take center stage with both the Pro Series 125 and the Wildcat 50 scheduled for this Saturday night, June 28, at 7 p.m. It's the longest race on the schedule for both classes, and it's sure to provide plenty of drama. Last year's Wildcat 50 provided a wild six-car, half-lap dash to the checkered flag, while the last two weekly Pro Series events have been dominated by intense rivalries on -- and off -- the track. There have been five different Pro Series winners in five races this season -- with Corey Bubar, Tyler King, Kyle DeSouza, Donnie Colpritt and Charlie Colby all victorious in 50-lap feature events. With every entrant in the Pro Series 125 receiving the same number of championship points, there's only one thing on the minds of the competitors: winning the premier event of the season. After Brian Caswell won the first three Wildcat races of 2014, he's been held out of Victory Lane for the last two weeks with Lewis Anderson and David Vaughn making their way to the checkered flag. Anderson won the Wildcat 50 in 2013. Before we get to Saturday night, though, Round 3 of the 10-week Thursday Thunder series rolls onto the track on Thursday night, June 26, at 7 p.m. Beech Ridge Motor Speedway is Maine's only NASCAR-sanctioned short track. In addition to the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, which competes from May through September each season, the track hosts the 10-week Thursday Thunder series from June through August, and Car Wars on Friday nights in August.
